Dr. Danielle Henzie was born and raised in West Bloomfield, where she attended Mercy High School. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 2009. She then moved to Chicago, earning a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science followed by her medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Henzie returned home to Michigan to complete her OB/GYN residency at St. Joseph Mercy Oakland.
Her specialized areas of clinical and surgical interest include:
- Robotic Surgery: Utilizing advanced, minimally invasive technology for specialized procedures.
- Patient-Centered Education: Informing patients about all aspects of their health and treatment options so they can make the best collaborative decisions for their care.
- Obstetrics: Building meaningful relationships with patients and guiding them through pregnancy and delivery.
Outside of her medical practice, Dr. Henzie loves spending time with her children and family. She also enjoys cooking and staying active, particularly cycling on her Peloton.
