Dr. Stranz joined the Women’s Health and Menopause Center in September 2017, bringing a strong commitment to patient advocacy and individualized care. A Beverly Hills, Michigan native, she graduated from Groves High School in 1999 and continued on to the University of Michigan, where she earned dual degrees in Chemistry and Biochemistry in 2003.
She then attended the Michigan State University College of Human Medicine, graduating in 2007. During medical school, she met her future colleague, Dr. Amy Marcotte, marking the start of a long-standing professional connection. Dr. Stranz completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the University of Chicago, where she served as Chief Resident from 2010 to 2011 and received multiple Resident Teaching Awards for her leadership and dedication to education.
Following residency, Dr. Stranz spent six years running a successful private practice in Oak Lawn, Illinois. During this time, she earned the Physician Excellence Award in Patient Communication from Advocate Christ Medical Center on several occasions—a reflection of her passion for clear, compassionate dialogue with patients.
Now back in her hometown, Dr. Stranz is delighted to once again serve the Southeast Michigan community. She lives locally with her husband, son, and daughter, and is proud to care for patients in the place she has always called home.
