With nearly 15 years experience as a physician’s assistant (P.A.), Mimi Kuykendall has cared for patients in the internal medicine, family practice and women’s health settings. Her objective is to empower her patients with the knowledge and education needed to make informed decisions about their own health. “I help patients become active participants in their care and in the management of health issues,” she explains. “Giving them the information they need increases their comfort level with recommendations and options for treatment.” Kuykendall works with her patients to reduce their health risks and maximize their health and well being.
Kuykendall has a special interest in the needs of menopausal women, including bio-identical hormone therapy, heart disease, breast health, and osteoporosis.
