Dr. Markowitz is an advocate for his patients’ health, both from an OB/GYN standpoint and their overall wellness. “My approach when caring for patients is to promote preventive medicine and lifestyle choices women can make to avoid health issues.” His care extends beyond gynecologic concerns to include all aspects of wellness. “I try to be efficient and thoughtful, and I believe everyone’s time is equally important to mine. I am mindful of patient needs and concerns, and treat every patient with compassion, respect and dignity.” Obstetrics, says Dr. Markowitz, offers the opportunity to build long-term relationships with his patients and their families. Dr. Markowitz admits patients to Henry Ford West Bloomfield, Huron Valley-Sinai, and Beaumont hospitals.

Specialty interests of Dr. Markowitz are obstetrics, menopause, hormone therapy, alternatives to hysterectomy and endometrial ablations, and adolescent medicine.
